Whitney Houston and Stevie Wonder will be among the honorees at the annual National Assn. of Black Owned Broadcasters’ communications awards dinner March 24 at D.C.’s Sheraton Washington Hotel.

The NABOB award goes to recipients “who have made significant contributions to and furthered the interests of the African-American community.”

Winners of this year’s award are Houston, Wonder, music producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, the R&B group Sounds of Blackness and “Soul Train” host Don Cornelius.
