NATO/ShoWest ’94 is sold out and no further registrations will be accepted, according to Tim Warner, general chairman of the annual convention of exhibitors and distributors.
The sellout marks the first time NATO/ShoWest has closed registration prior to the opening of the event, which is scheduled March 7-10 at Bally’s Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
Nearly 7,000 attendees have registered for the event, Warner said Tuesday. An attendance record is anticipated.
Warner said in a statement that NATO/ShoWest has considered moving into a convention center but opted to stay small. He said Bally’s is the best and largest facility for the event “if you are trying to keep the convention in-house and not go to a convention center.” He said a larger arena venue “would take away from the focus of our convention.”
