Michael Richards will host the sixth annual Aspen Comedy Festival Thursday through Saturday, culminating with the taping of a pair of hourlong syndicated specials that will be distributed for early spring by New Line TV.

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and Publicists Guild will host “An Evening With TV Editors, Critics & Writers” Jan. 25 at the Academy Plaza Theatre in North Hollywood.

Panelists will be Miles Beller, Lynn Elber, Brian Lowry, Lee Margulies, Ray Richmond and Matt Roush, with Hank Rieger moderating.

Chicago ensemble the Dogs, who have gained a following on their home turf, will perform their new show, “Rabid,” today and Wednesday at the Tiffany Theatre in Hollywood. Directed by Ric Murphy, the show marks this company’s first production in Los Angeles. Admission is free.

BAFTA/LA will screen “A Business Affair,” a romantic comedy produced by Capella Films and starring Christopher Walken, Carole Bouquet and Jonathan Pryce. The premiere U.S. screening is Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Pacific Design Center. A Q&A sesh will follow the film.
