G.E.L. grabs int’l rights to ‘Goodnight’ thriller

Exposition Park Pictures’ “A Kiss Goodnight,” the erotic thriller that premiered last month at the Palm Springs Intl. Film Festival, has been acquired for international distribution by G.E.L. Prods. and Distribution.

In “Kiss,” a powerful female executive breaks off an affair with a corporate attorney who just won’t take no for an answer.

The film stars Paula Trickey (“Beverly Hills, 90210”), Mark Moses (“Platoon”) , Al Corley (“Dynasty”) and Lawrence Tierney (“Reservoir Dogs”).

William A. Shields, the CEO of G.E.L. Prods. and a member of AFM’s board of directors, says “The cast is well-known domestically. And all the credits from ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ to ‘Dynasty’ are known around the world which should translate into strong sales.”

“Kiss” marks the first feature from Exposition Park Pictures, which was formed in February 1993 by former IRS Media co-founder Daniel Raskov. Raskov wrote, produced and directed “Kiss.” He hopes that Exposition Park will develop five features in the $ 2 million-$ 5 million range over the next three years. Raskov already has two other projects in pre-production. They include “Radio Free Iowa,” a fish-out-of-water story about a Motor City shock-jock who finds himself working at an Iowa radio station, and “Justifiable Homicide,” a”War of the Roses” type pic about two business associates.

Other titles on G.E.L.’s slate include sci-fi flick “Replikator,” actioner “The Devil’s Keep” the Judd Nelson vehicle “Flinch,” the mystical Western “Uninvited” and the Croatian political drama “Idaho Potato” among others.
