The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences and American Center for Children’s Television will co-sponsor the Children’s Interactive Media Festival from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Academy Plaza Theatre. Shelley Duvall, Harry Shearer and Sinbad will speak at the event, which will also include four panels and an exhibit of interactive technology exploring ways to reach the children’s market.

The American Cinematheque presents “Shoot Out the Lights: The Films of Nicholas Ray,” Friday through Sunday at the Directors Guild of America Theater. Films to be screened include “Rebel Without a Cause,””In a Lonely Place,””They Live by Night” and “King of Kings.” Several pix will be shown in CinemaScope. For info, call (213) 466-3456.
