Beckett docu to screen at AFI

A 90-minute documentary on writer Samuel Beckett, titled “Waiting for Beckett ,” will be shown Feb. 5 at the American Film Institute Video Festival.

Directed and produced by John Reilly, vidclip will also air on PBS in February. Melissa Shaw-Smith also produced.

In addition to footage of Beckett, docu presents perfs by Zero Mostel, Burgess Meredith, Steve Martin, Robin Williams, Bill Irwin, Buster Keaton and Billie Whitelaw.
