Eleven actors have been added as presenters for the 51st annual Golden Globe Awards Saturday at the Beverly Hilton. They are Kirstie Alley, Val Kilmer, Juliette Lewis, Marlee Matlin, Stefanie Powers, Christian Slater, Wes Studi, Lindsay Wagner, Alfre Woodard, Sean Young and Al Pacino.

Twentieth TV has named Karen Melamed, a producer on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” as senior producer of “The Bertice Berry Show.” Earlier in her career, Melamed served as senior producer of local morning magazine shows in Boston and Seattle.

“The Boys of St. Vincent” was the audience favorite at the Palm Springs Intl. Film Festival. Telepic distributed by Alliance Communications sparked controversy when the Catholic Church tried to block broadcast of the Canadian drama about pedophile priests at an orphanage. The Arts & Entertainment Network has acquired rights to the vidpic, which has won 15 awards.

Former KCBS entertainment reporter Steve Kmetko has joined E! Entertainment Television as an anchor with Bianca Ferrare on “E! News Daily.” He’ll also co-host E!’s awards show coverage and anchor the “E! Entertainment Report,” which is fed to NBC affiliates.

Spanish-language sports network La Cadena Deportiva Prime Ticket will air the National Hockey League All-Star Game Saturday simultaneously with NBC. The deal marks the first telecast in Spanish of the game, to be telecast from noon to 3 p.m.
