Granada Group PLC said it was extending its offer for shares in LWT Holdings PLC another two weeks to Jan. 26. Granada launched a hostile bid for the parent of the London Weekend Television network late in 1993.
So far, Granada said it has received 2.61% of the issued ordinary share capital of LWT. Prior to launching the bid, Granada already owned 17.51% of LWT and it thus now holds 20.12%.

Interactive Media Technologies Inc. said it has emerged from bankruptcy and a federal court has confirmed its reorganization plan. The company filed for Chapter 11 in March 1992.

Discovery Zone Inc. entered an agreement with Blockbuster Entertainment Corp. to develop 25 Discovery Zone FunCenter indoor playgrounds in Canada and the Seattle area. The company said Blockbuster also has the right to develop a minimum of 100 centers in other areas of the United States.
