Yarin jumps fence to Fox

Rob Yarin has joined Fox News as a senior editor on the weblet’s planned primetime news magazine, Fox confirmed, working under exec producer David Corvo.

Yarin comes from “Entertainment Tonight,” where he had overseen the syndicated magazine’s “Cover Story” unit, which does more in-depth pieces for the Paramount Domestic TV series.

The magazine show is expected to premiere on Fox Broadcasting Co. early this summer and would mark the weblet’s first foray into that arena since “The Reporters.”

In addition to Corvo (recruited from CBS by Fox News prez Van Gordon Sauter), David Browning has been signed as a senior producer on the show and Ron Reagan and Andria Hall as correspondents (Daily Variety, March 2).
