Gotham’s WWOR-TV has committed to air a full hour of All American TV’s syndie gameshow “Family Feud,” 4-5 p.m. starting Sept. 13.
The New York indie will air original episodes during the first half-hour and reruns in the second.
“Feud,” which earned a 50th-ranked 2.5 rating in the latest Nielsen national syndication barter rankings, has been cleared in 115 markets covering 81% of the country.
Among stations clearing the strip for a sixth season is KCBS-TV, which plans to air the program at 9 a.m. weekdays — replacing the CBS network version of the show.
With the Eye web giving back a daytime hour to its affiliates, KCBS opted to continue carrying the firstrun edition of “Feud.” The network run always performed well locally in the slot.
