WB reportedly has moved its drama “Wrestling Ernest Hemingway” from October to Christmas.

Sources said Tuesday that switch of release dates is a bid to jockey for a more prominent position in the Oscar race.

WB had no comment other than to say that there is no definite release date for the film.

“Wrestling” depicts life in a sleepy Florida burg where two retirees, played by Robert Duvall and Richard Harris, become friends despite inherent differences.

The pic, directed by Randa Haines and produced by Todd Black and Joe Wizan, also stars Shirley MacLaine and Piper Laurie.
