CBS has shuffled its Saturday morning lineup, moving three series to new time periods. The new configuration, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., is “Marsupilami,””The Little Mermaid,” hours of “Garfield and Friends” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,””Dennis the Menace,””Cadillacs and Dinosaurs,””Beakman’s World” and “CBS Storybreak.”

ABC also recently made changes in its lineup. Both webs trailing Fox Children’s Network in the daypart.

Danish toymaker Lego Inc. plans to build a $ 100 million amusement park in Carlsbad based on its colorful building blocks. Lego picked the site over Prince William County, Va. Stay tuned, though: There’s already resistance in Carlsbad, which has a history of slow-growth squabbles.

HBO announced its New Writers Project for multicultural comic writers and performers. Scripts of 25 one-act comedies will be selected for an HBO writers workshop and possible further development. It will be headed by Steve Kaplan and operated in conjunction with his Wavy Line Prods. Deadline for entries is Feb. 1 .
