Oz shows get distrib deals

Roadshow, Coote & Carroll, a unit of the Village Roadshow Production Group, has placed two TV series with international distribs.

England’s ITEL has landed worldwide rights excluding Australia (Nine Network) to the 26-hour drama skein “Justice of the Land.”

The second series of 13 episodes is now shooting with a new cast headed by Lisa Hensley, Peter O’Brien and Michael O’Neill.

London-based Pavilion Intl. has foreign rights to “G.P.,” a serial about an inner city medical practice, co-produced by Roadshow, Coote & Carroll and the Australian Broadcasting Corp.

Forty episodes of “G.P,” now in its sixth year, have already been sold to the U.K’s Family Channel.
