KW taps Campbell for ‘Les Brown’

King World has filled the production ranks of its new syndicated “Les Brown” talker, announcing Friday the appointment of vet TV director Brian Campbell and 10 other key behind-the-scenes personnel.

Campbell, who most recently was director for Multimedia Entertainment’s “The Jerry Springer Show,” will be joined by five newly named producers and five associate producers.

The producers are Shari Lambert, who counts Tribune Entertainment’s “Joan Rivers Show” among her credits; Susan Sprecher, who was a producer for “Donahue, “”Montel Williams” and “The Jane (Pratt) Show”; Niles Jaeger, producer of Comedy Central’s “Indecision ’92” and “The Jane Show”; Odessa Drayton-Iton, who comes out of TV news and radio; and Janet Lee, who most recently produced a local Minneapolis chat show.

Associate producers are Larry Yellin, Daniel Silber, Kristen Cosover, Gwendolyn Hall and Karen Boyd Bell.

Betsy Alexander serves as co-exec producer with KW toppers Roger and Michael King.
