Filandrinos heads Fox affils

Gregg Filandrinos, VP-general manager of KDNL, St. Louis, has been named chairman of Fox Broadcasting Co.’s affiliate board, succeeding Kevin O’Brien of KTVU Oakland.

Two new members, Mike Conway of WTXF in Philadelphia and WXIN Indianpolis’ Joe Young, join seven returning governors on the board, including Filandrinos, O’Brien, Art Lanham, KMSS Shreveport, La.; Brad Moran, KJTV Lubbock, Tx.; Murray Green, WFLX West Palm Beach; Steve Friedheim, WFXG, Augusta, Ga.; and Donita Todd, WNRW Winston-Salem, who will chair the oversight committee for the Fox Children’s Network.

Two board members since its inception in 1987, past chairman Mike Fisher of KTXL Sacramento and KSHB Kansas City’s Bob Wormington, will leave the board, which functions as an advisory body on behalf of Fox’s 139 affiliates.
