FCC fines 3 for kidvid ads

Three TV stations have each been slapped with $ 15,000 fines by the FCC for violating ad-limit guidelines in the 1990 Children’s Television Act.

KEVN-TV, Rapid City, S.D.; KCTZ-TV, Bozeman, Mont., and WKBD-TV, Detroit, have 30 days to pay the fine or appeal.
