Dave trespasser is nabbed again

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — A woman charged repeatedly with pestering David Letterman since 1988 was arrested early Wednesday after police found her sleeping near tennis courts on the talkshow host’s property.

Margaret Ray, 41, who gave police an address in Crawford, Colo., was arrested after police received a complaint of a trespasser. Police would not say whether Letterman made the complaint.

It was Ray’s eighth arrest for alleged trespassing on Letterman’s property or breaking into his house.

She was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and arraignment was set in Norwalk Superior Court, Officer Charles Morton said. Bond was set at $ 2,000.

Ray’s visits to Letterman’s home began in 1988, when she was caught driving his Porsche.
