Alan Kirschenbaum and the writing team of Martin Rips and Joseph Staretski have joined Universal TV’s “Coach” as co-exec producer and supervising producers , respectively.

Kirschenbaum most recently worked on the HBO Independent Prods. series “Down the Shore,” while Rips and Staretski’s credits include “Hearts Afire” and “Doctor, Doctor.”

The pair previously had an overall deal at Reeves Entertainment.

The changes follow the exit of several producers last season, including co-exec producers Judd Pillot and John Peaslee (who left to develop their own pilot), supervising producer Bob Bendetson (now with “Home Improvement”) and producer Nell Scovell (who moved to “Murphy Brown”).

Creator Barry Kemp continues as exec producer on “Coach,” with star Craig T. Nelson serving as co-exec producer along with Kirschenbaum. The series is preparing to enter its sixth season and has been renewed through a seventh year by ABC.
