UTA adds scribes to roster

United Talent Agency added to its writer/producer stable last week, inking Ann Lewis Hamilton, David Chase and Tom Fontana.

The Emmy-winning Hamilton served as exec producer on the femme ABC cop show “Sirens” and also worked as writer/producer on “Thirtysomething.”

Hamilton, who just finished writing “Ellen Foster” for New Line, will be repped by UTA’s Peter Benedek, Jay Sures, Risa Gertner and Evan Weiss.

Chase was exec producer, director and writer of “Northern Exposure” and also worked on “I’ll Fly Away.” His UTA crew consists of Benedek, Chris Harbert and Barry Mendel.

Fontana, a two-time Emmy winner, is a veteran writer/producer from “St. Elsewhere.” He is currently exec producer with Barry Levinson on “Homicide: Life on the Street.” He is repped by UTA’s Benedek, Patrick Whitesell, Gary Cosay, Gavin Polone and David Kanter.
