Sid Sidney

Sid Sidney, a violinist, music supervisor and music editor, died Nov. 18 of complications from Parkinson’s disease.

Born in Brooklyn in 1905, Sidney was a music supervisor at Warner Bros. and later worked as a music editor on films and TV series, including “Dragnet” and “Lassie.” He was also a music rep for the Musicians Union Local 47.

Sidney is survived by his wife, Lois, and a daughter.
