In an expected move, Howard Rosenman was appointed Monday to the post of president of the motion picture division of Brillstein/Grey Entertainment.
Rosenman was previously co-president of Sandy Gallin and Dolly Parton’s Sandollar Prods, where he produced the Steve Martin/Diane Keaton-starrer “Father of the Bride.”
At Sandollar, Carol Baum will continue in the president’s role — the post she shared with Rosenman.
Rosenman will be responsible for the development, finance and production of all Brillstein/Grey Entertainment movies. He will officially take the job on Sept. 21, when his Sandollar contract expires.
In joining Brillstein/Grey, Rosenman comes to a company that sports such clients as Brad Pitt, Dana Delany, Mickey Rourke, Mike Myers, Nicolas Cage, Elizabeth Perkins, Dana Carvey and Lorne Michaels. The company has notched a producer’s credit on “Wayne’s World.”
