Moses Dillard

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Moses Dillard, 46, award-winning gospel music producer and former disco singer, died July 14 of a heart attack.

In 1983, Dillard won a Grammy Award and a Gospel Music Assn. Dove Award as the producer of Al Green’s “Precious Lord.” In the late 1970s, he was a disco singer.

Dillard, a minister, was an associate producer of thealbum “March On,” a tribute to the Rev. Martin Luther King to benefit the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis. The album is scheduled for release in August.
