Jerry Strivelli

Jerry Strivelli, 61, actor-writer-director, died June 21 of a heart attack in New York City.

Strivelli wrote and directed off-Broadway productions, including “Off the Piano,””Crazy Day in Court” and “The Message.”

As an actor he appeared in the films “Lockup,””Cookie,””The Godfather Part II ,””The Front” and “Raging Bull.”

At the time of his death, he was working on the legit musical “Mulberry Street.”

Survived by his wife, Gerry, a son, daughter, mother, a sister and two grandchildren.
