Gloria Manos

Gloria Manos, 69, actress, died July 6 in Reno, Nev., of cancer.

Born in Detroit, Manos moved to New York where she performed as a singer and actress in Off Broadway productions.

She met and married actor Johnny Silver.

In 1954, Manos moved to Los Angeles. She was a longtime member of SAG, AFTRA and Actors’ Equity.

Her television credits include “Little House on the Prairie,””T.J. Hooker, “”Starman,””General Hospital,””Doctor, Doctor,””St. Elsewhere,””The Wonder Years ,””Benson” and “It’s a Living,” among others. Film credits include “Battle Beyond the Stars” and “The Competition.”

Stage credits include “Dark of the Moon,””The Table,””42 Seconds From Broadway,””Never Get Smart With an Angel,””Gypsy” and “Guys and Dolls.”

Survived by her husband; two daughters, Stephanie and Jennifer; and a brother , Ernest.

Services will be held Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. in the chapel at St. Charles Catholic Church, 10800 Moorpark St., North Hollywood.
