Saban Entertainment announced the expansion of its licensing and merchandising department with the appointments of Debi Young as vice president of licensing and merchandising and Sheila Clarke as licensing coordinator.Richard Maul has been named VP, field marketing, Showtime Networks Inc., where he will be responsible for enhancing the alignment of SNI marketing strategies those of the MSO community. Susan Reiner has been promoted to VP, drama development, at Warner Bros. TV, having been director in that area since November 1990. R/ Greenberg Associates, a design and production company with offices in New York and Los Angeles, has named Todd Arnow head of operations and has brought back Ken Stytzer, an original member of the company’s creative team, to serve as design and post-production manager. Kim Long and James Wilberger have both been promoted to vice president, production, TNT. They will oversee physical production of original movies, miniseries and specials. Debra L. Langford has joined Quincy Jones Entertainment as VPof television, having previously been VP of current programming at Warner Bros. TV. Langford spent five years at WBTV and before that was director of development at Hanna-Barbera. David Rand has been named VP in charge of New Horizons Home Video. Rand, who joined the company in 1991 as national sales director, will remain based in its Atlanta offices. Before joining New Horizons, Rand served as a regional sales director for Baker & Taylor Video. Barbara Tranchito has been promoted to senior manager, media services at NBC West Coast, having been manager in that area since August 1989. She’ll be responsible for electronic promotion of network shows.
