Ron Bension has been named chairman and chief executive officer of MCA Recreation Services Group, a step up from his former title of president and chief operating officer.
He replaces Jay Stein, who will remain with the company as a consultant. The announcement was made by Sid Sheinberg, president and COO of MCA Inc.
MCA Recreation Services Group includes Universal Studios Hollywood and Florida.
Bension began at Universal Studios Hollywood in 1971 and was named president and COO of the facility in 1988. He was appointed prez and COO MCA Recreation Services Group in October 1990.
Stein joined MCA Inc. in 1955 and held a number of executive positions.
