Nancy McLeod Perkins has been named VP, casting, at Universal TV, overseeing casting for all series and pilots.

She joins the studio from Columbia Pictures TV, where she was director, talent and casting, since 1990, working on such shows as ABC’s upcoming “George” and “Moon Over Miami.”

Perkins replaces Joan Sittenfield, who left in June to pursue other opportunities.

Beginning at ABC in 1983, Perkins worked at various casting firms before joining Columbia, including Marsha Kleinman & Associates, where her longform credits include “Blind Faith” and “Sarah, Plain & Tall.”
