Manager Dick Scott yesterday announced an exclusive management and consulting pact with producer Teddy Riley through his Dick Scott Entertainment.

Scott, who also handles New Kids on the Block and Marky Mark, also will oversee Riley’s L.O.R. (Life of Riley) recording label, distributed by MCA. The label’s first release, “Rump Shaker,” by rap duo Wreckx-N-Effect, has been certified platinum just seven weeks after its release.

Riley, nominated for producer of the year at this year’s Grammys, is generally credited as one of the founders of the dance/rap/R&B style known as New Jack Swing. His writing, production and performance credits include Michael Jackson and Bobby Brown, among many others.
