Hollywood Records has drafted two key executives for its A&R team with the appointment of Bob Pfeifer and Nick Terzo as vice presidents.
Pfeifer and Terzo will be responsible for worldwide signing and artist development of Hollywood artists.
They will be based in Burbank and report to label president Peter Paterno.
Pfeifer was formerly a VP of A&R at Epic Records, where he signed Screaming Trees, Joe Satri-ani, Sepultura, Ornette Coleman, Eve’s Plum and Alice Cooper. He is also a former member of the band Human Switchboard and recorded a solo album for Passport Records.
Terzo arrives at Hollywood from Columbia Records, where he was a senior director of A&R. He signed Alice in Chains, Circus of Power and participated in A&R duties for Toad the Wet Sprocket and the soundtrack to the film “Last Action Hero.”
He was also a former director of membership at the American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers and worked as a promoter for Avalon Attractions.
