ERAS Center to benefit from Archerd event

The ERAS Center is one of the three charities Army Archerd chose to benefit from Daily Variety’s Salute to recognize the model community center’s important services in helping 48,000 children.

ERAS provides programs and community services for “at risk” children and their families.

The ERAS Center, a nonprofit institution, is dedicated to research, professional training, and direct services for children challenged by poverty, abuse and learning, emotional or developmental disabilities.

The Culver City-based ERAS was founded in 1980. Its goal is to improve the qualty of life for the 4 out of every 10 children and young adults who are “at risk” and ensure that each child and his or her family receives the support and services they need to succeed.

The educational, therapeutic, vocational, residential and resource services provided by ERAS assists these young people to lead productive and healthy lives.

ERAS’ research and professional training have developed innovative programs that range from a therapeutic day school to community-based vocational and residential programs aimed at giving dignity and independence to the

young people and their families.
