New Harmony picks quartet

The New Harmony Project, established to help develop the materials of writers , has announced participants in the 1993 conference/laboratory.

Four projects, from more than 340 entries, were chosen for full development: “Brimstone,” a musical with book and lyrics written by Mary Bracken Phillips and music by Keith Donald and Paddy Meegan; “Gifts,” a play by Arthur Giron; “God’s Pictures,” a play by Daisy Foote; and “Some Sweet Day,” a screenplay by William Akers and Mac Pirkle.

Also selected to participate in the New Harmony Project with readings of their scripts were Rita Nachtman for her play, “How I Spent My Life’s Vacation” and Jesse Vaughn for for his screenplay “Living in Fear.”
