Mac Davis will replace Keith Carradine in the lead role of “Will Rogers Follies,” currently running at the Pantages Theater.

Carradine had to drop out soon after the show opened due to a flu, but remains out because of an old back injury that has flared up.

Davis will step into the role on Tuesday, Aug. 24, and continue through the L.A. run, which is scheduled to end Sept. 26. Davis, who had been signed to take over the role after the Los Angeles run, will step in early, relieving understudy Dan Sharkey.
