Jeanne Haney and Janet Spellman-Rider have been promoted to senior coordinating producer and coordinating producer, respectively, on the NBC soap “Days of Our Lives.” Haney joined the show in October 1992, while Spellman-Rider has been with the Columbia Pictures TV series since 1984.

The Linda Yellen Co. has moved to offices at the Lantana Center in Santa Monica. Yellen is in post-production on the pic “Parallel Lives,” set to air on Showtime next summer.

USA Network, Comedy Central and Playboy TV will air “Hot, Sexy & Safer,” an hourlong, Playboy-produced comedic AIDS awareness special featuring actress Suzi Landolphi. Playboy will air the spec concurrently with Comedy Central Dec. 3 and USA Dec. 30.

CBS will televise the Pillsbury Bake-Off as a half-hour special hosted by Vicki Lawrence at

8 a.m. Feb. 22. Intl. Broadcast Consultants will produce the spec for Pillsbury and its ad agency, Leo Burnett.

Amy Grant has been named host of the Gospel Music Assn.’s Dove Awards, skedded to air live from Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry Feb. 28 on the Family Channel.

Founder Ken Elks has resigned as prexy of the Deaf Entertainment Foundation and been replaced by Scott Benson. Elks remains honorary past president and project director. Also, the foundation is leaving the Craig Agency and seeks new office space.
