Tim Burton signs copies of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” children’s book from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Every Picture Tells a Story, 7525 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles. Event includes readings by Catherine O’Hara and Glenn Shadix and sale of a litho masterprint of the cover art signed by Burton, benefiting the Vincent Price Gallery at East L.A. College.

Fox Broadcasting Co.’s “America’s Most Wanted” has contributed to the arrest of two more fugitives, Jonathan Kliem and Chad Beers, wanted for a series of crimes in Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Mitchell Kriegman, exec producer of the Nickelodeon series “Clarissa Explains It All,” has entered into an overall TV deal with Viacom Entertainment Group. Kriegman, a former writer on “Saturday Night Live” and Nickelodeon series “Ren and Stimpy” and “Rugrats,” is based in New York and will develop programs for Viacom’s cable networks and broadcast TV.
