Former minor league baseball pitcher Scott Patterson has landed a starring role opposite Jonathan Silverman and Brad Johnson in Castle Rock Entertainment’s “Little Big League,” which will be directed by company partner Andrew Scheinman.
Patterson has been signed by Nick Styne at Writers & Artists Agency.
His manager is Audrey Caan, and his attorney is Alan Hergott.
“Little Big League” starts production Aug. 23.
In other casting news, Peter Greene has been set to star opposite Jim Carrey and Richard Jeni in New Line Cinema’s special-effects comedy “The Mask,” which will be directed by Chuck Russell. The pic rolls in September in Los Angeles.
Greene has recently appeared in such movies as Universal’s “Judgment Night” and Nick Gomez’s “Laws of Gravity.” He is represented by Writers & Artists’ Styne and Don Spradlin. His manager is Dave Fleming at the management/production company Adelson-Baumgarten.
