If Hollywood is planning to turn out more family fare, it certainly doesn’t show in this week’s R-strewn bulletin from the MPAA’s Classification & Rating Administration, with only “Robin Hood: Men in Tights” receiving a PG-13.
An NC-17 was given to “Teenage Bonnie and Klepto Clyde.”
Trimark is appealing the rating.
“Robin Hood: Men in Tights” (20th Century Fox; for “off-color humor”).
“A Dangerous Woman” (Gramercy Pictures; for “some graphic sexuality, strong language and a scene of violence”).
“Flesh Gordon Meets the Cosmic Cheerleaders” (Concorde Pictures; for “sex-related and scatological humor”; edited version: content is different from NC-17-rated version, bulletin No. 1155).
“Forever” (Triax Entertainment Group; for “sexuality”).
“Live by the Fist” (Concorde Pictures; for “strong violence, language and some nudity”).
“Rising Sun” (20th Century Fox; for “strong sexuality, language and some violence”).
“Teenage Bonnie and Klepto Clyde” (Trimark Pictures; this rating is being appealed to the CARA Appeals Board).
