A 14-member committee has been put together to serve on the newly created Los Angeles County Motion Picture & Teleproduction task force.
The task force will replace and expand the county’s former filming advisory task force, which was dissolved six months ago.
Its mission is to oversee filming-related problems and production retention issues for the county.
Among those who will sit on the board are: Donna Jimenez (Warner Bros.), Robert Cohen (indie film producer), Marjo Bernay (IATSE business agent), Eunice Chesler (Paramount), Steve Perry (indie feature producer), Robert Johnson (Show Coalition), Frank Scherma (Assn. of Independent Commercial Producers West), Kathleen Milnes (AMPTP), Nina Blanchard, (owner of the Nina Blanchard Agency), Lisa Rawlins (Warner Bros.), Ian Bryce (producer/unit production manager), Pam Tarr (Squeak Pictures), Ralph Sariego (MCA Universal) and Sam Mercer (Hollywood Pictures/Disney).
The task force will hold its first meeting during the last week in September.
