Paramount’s “Intersection,” with Richard Gere and Sharon Stone, crossed into R-rating territory, according to the latest bulletin by the Classification & Rating Administration of the Motion Picture Assn. of America.

Six other films were also handed R tags; there were two PGs and three PG-13s.

“The Final Mission” (Trimark Pictures; “for sexuality”).

“Golden Gate” (Samuel Goldwyn Co.; “for language and brief sexuality”).

“Passionate Partners” (United States Media Corp.; “for some strong sexuality”).

“Possessed by the Night” (Columbia TriStar Home Video; “for strong sexuality and violence and language”).

“Secret Sins” (K-Beach Video; “for some sexuality and language”).

“The Webbers’ 15 Minutes” (Live Home Video; “for sexuality and language”).


“Greedy” (Universal City Studios; “for language”).

“Holy Matrimony” (Buena Vista Pictures; “for thematic elements”).

“Amore!” (Loco Motion Picture; “for sex-related scenes and dialogue”).


“My Father, The Hero” (Buena Vista Pictures; “for thematic elements”).

“Cops and Robbersons” (TriStar Pictures; “for mild violence, language and some comic nudity”).
