Margaret French-Isaac has been hired as VP of production at Wendy Finerman Prods., bringing the former Paramount Pictures story editor to the TriStar-based production shingle, sources confirmed yesterday.
French-Isaac began her career as an assistant to David Kirkpatrick, working with him at Weintraub Entertainment, Walt Disney Co. and Paramount Pictures in creative executive and executive story editor capacities. In her new post, she becomes the top development executive behind company topper Wendy Finerman.
Finerman said French-Isaac brings invaluable “creative skills” to the company. Finerman said the production shingle “has numerous films in development ,” and “will be adding more” with French-Isaac aboard.
