Fox to air Rolling Stone mag show

The first fruits of the joint venture between Rolling Stone magazine and Fox TV airs tonight in an hourlong recap of the year’s best moments in music, film and TV.

“Rolling Stone ’93: Year in Review” will feature interviews with a diverse list of artists who figured prominently in the past year.

Rappers Dr. Dre and Snoop Doggy Dogg will join singers k.d. lang and Janet Jackson. Actress Winona Ryder, director Steven Spielberg and comedian Jerry Seinfeld will also appear.

Produced by MTV veteran Joel Gallen through his Tenth Planet Prods., the special could become an annual franchise. Additional productions are expected from Fox TV and Rolling Stone.
