Keith Davis, who recently ankled as a development executive at Zucker Bros. Prods., has joined Mel Gibson’s Warner Bros.-based Icon Prods. as vice president of development.
Davis, who starts in his new post today, will report to company president Bruce Davey and work closely with Icon director of development Eveleen McCormack.
Icon is prepping “Immortal Beloved,” a film about Beethoven, written and to be directed by Bernard Rose.
Davis, who joined the Zuckers’ company in 1991, was involved with a number of the company’s high-profile projects, including Jerry Zucker’s “First Knight” and David Zucker’s “Davy Crockett.”
Another project developed during Davis’ tenure was “My Life,” which recently completed production and marks the directorial debut of Bruce Joel Rubin.
Before working at Zucker Bros., Davis was a development executive at Steel Pictures.
