Castle Rock’s ‘Amos,’ U’s ‘Heirs’ nab PG-13s

Castle Rock Entertainment’s “Amos & Andrew” and Universal’s “Splitting Heirs” received PG-13s in the 1,255th bulletin from the Motion Picture Assn. of America’s Classification & Rating Administration.

Among the 11 movies rated, six movies received Rs, three movies received PG- 13s, one received a PG and one received a G.

“Amos & Andrew” (Columbia Pictures; “for drug content and some language”).

“Splitting Heirs” (Universal City Studios; “for nudity and dialogue”).


“Best of the Best II” (20th Century Fox; “for strong martial arts violence”).

“C.I.A.: Codename Alexa” (P.M. Entertainment Group Inc.; “for violence, sexuality and language”).

“Dirty Work” (Paramount Home Video; “for violence”).

“Mind Twister” (Play Nice Inc.; “for strong sexuality, and for violence and language”).

“Over the Line” (Cannon Pictures, Inc.; “for strong violence, sexuality and language”).

“Rage and Honor II: Hostile Takeover” (Columbia TriStar Home Video; “for violence, and for language”).
