Alan Bergman will undertake a second term as prexy of the Academy Foundation of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. All other Foundation officers have been reelected, and five newcomers have been named to the Foundation’s board of trustees.
The 51-year-old Academy Foundation was established to oversee Acad educational, preservation and cultural activities.
The new trustees are Saul Bass, Robert A. Daly, Sidney Ganis, Don Hall and Roddy McDowall.
Reelected trustees include Bergman, Bruce Broughton, Donn Cambern, June Foray , Arthur Hamilton, new Academy president Arthur Hiller, Cheryl Boone Isaacs, Fay Kanin, Donald C. Rogers, Jerry Wunderlich, and Saul Zaentz.
The officers include Bergman, president; Zaentz, vice president; Hiller, treasurer; and Kanin, secretary. Academy executive director Bruce Davis remains exec secretary of the Foundation.
