ITC Home Video has entered into an exclusive marketing/distribution pact with FoxVideo covering all ITC Entertainment Group productions and acquisitions.

Under the agreement, product will be released under the ITC Home Video label via FoxVideo.

International homevideo distribution continues to be licensed by ITC under the supervision of Jim Marrinan, senior executive VP international, and Faye Beland, VP, international theatrical distribution. ITC’s U.K. and Australian homevideo companies will handle its pictures in those territories.

ITC Home Video plans to release about two titles a month through FoxVideo beginning in June.

“We are especially pleased about our working relationship with FoxVideo,” said Vallery Kountze, ITC domestic homevideo executive VP and general manager. “They have been an established leader in the industry since its inception.”

ITC’s film production/acquisition program is gearing up to substantially increase its output. ITC pix will continue to be released in association with both major and independent theatrical distribs.

ITC plans to triple the number of feature films it finances and acquires for domestic distribution.

“Our primary interest is in feature projects with solid theatrical potential, whether finished or in the development stage,” said Paul S. Almond, senior VP, worldwide acquisitions. “We’re currently reviewing properties ranging in budget from $ 1 million to $ 10 million. Cable premieres and a limited number of homevideo premieres are also in the plan.”
