Atlantis Communications Inc., a Canadian independent TV producer, completed its initial public offering and secondary offering that raised $ C36 million ($ 27 million) –$ C30 million ($ 22.5 million) of which goes to the company.

The proceeds will be used to increase program development, finance acquisitions and distribution rights and develop or acquire related businesses, the company said.

Scripps Howard Broadcasting Co. has completed sale of its radio stations in order to concentrate on operating its nine television stations. The company said it sold KUPL-AM and KUPL-FM in Portland, Ore., for $ 23 million to BayCom Oregon , a limited partnership in San Francisco.
