Cunningham re-elected

For a record third consecutive term, Ronny Cunningham has been re-elected as business agent for Prop Local 44 of the Intl. Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees.

Cunningham beat out Bill Hedlund, 1,752 to 256, for the position, while his secretary-treasurer, Walter Keske, also swept the election, winning over Otto Lundgren with 1,749 votes to 255.

On the executive board, president Ed Williams, veepee Speed Stearns, property master Emily Ferry and prop master delegate Craig Raiche all ran unopposed. Chuck Dolan and Jerry Fitzpatrick also ran unopposed for seats on the exec board.

In addition, Mike Cappello was elected as an exec board delegate to the upcoming national convention over Greg Rundo, 751 votes to 145; Ed Vance was elected trustee over Mike Roberts, 1,538 votes to 395; and Ralph Fierro was elected sergeant-at-arms. Steve Barsony was also elected to the executive board.

There will be a run-off within the next 30 days between Joe Recchia and Victor Nerone to serve as a delegate to the national convention, to be held in New York this summer.

Robert Zilliox was elected as a set decorator delegate for the convention.
