Ryan leaving ABC’s ‘Home’

Marty Ryan is leaving as exec producer of ABC’s daytime “Home” show and the show’s creator, Woody Fraser, will return as exec producer, effective Monday.

Fraser had been serving as a consultant on the series since he left and Ryan, a former exec producer of the “Today” show, took over in July 1991. ABC said that Ryan was leaving to pursue other interests.

“Home,” recently pared back to an hour from 90 minutes, has run on ABC since 1988. In addition to creating “Home,” which is produced through Reeves Entertainment, Fraser’s credits include “Good Morning America,””That’s Incredible!” and “The Mike Douglas Show.”
