Stanley E. Hubbard

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Stanley E. Hubbard, a broadcast pioneer whose Hubbard Broadcasting owns TV and radio stations in Minnesota, New Mexico and Florida, died Dec. 27 at 95.

He put radio station WAMD on the air in 1923 and started KSTP-TV in 1948.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Hubbard, a daughter, a son, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
