Karla Vinson is joining Reeves Entertainment as VP of TV movies and miniseries, reporting to exec veepee of network programming Rob Kenneally.
The addition of Vinson fills a void left by the departure of Michael Healy, who recently left Reeves for a post at CBS.
Vinson comes from Davis Entertainment, where she has been VP of television development since 1991, involved in such projects as “Wild Card,” the recent USA Network movie, and the international co-productions “Voyage” and “Crack in the Kremlin Wall.”
Prior to her stint at Davis, Vinson was director of development at Von Zerneck-Sertner Films.
Kenneally said Reeves plans to work aggressively, in concert with British parent Thames TV, to expand its activity in the longform area.
