Duke Robbins

Studio driver/actor Duke Robbins, 71, died Sept. 16 in Duarte of pneumonia.

As a driver, he was a 25-year member of Local 399. Robbins was also a member of the Screen Actors Guild. He had a small recurring role on “The Dukes of Hazzard” and appeared in the feature “Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore.”

A veteran of World War II, Robbins was a divebomber pilot on the USS Saratoga.

Survived by his wife, Jean, and two sons.

There were no services. Robbins’ body was cremated and the ashes scattered at sea.
